1 California Prune, chopped
1 Bartlett Pear, chopped, seeds discarded
1 cup sugar
Directions
For the Finely Pruned Cocktail:
Shake the ingredients with 2 sprigs of thyme and 1 sprig of rosemary. Strain into a wine glass with ice. Garnish with herbs of choice and dried lemon and lime wheels
For the Lemon Cordial:
Bring the water to a simmer, add the lemon peels, set aside to cool. Once it’s cool, strain the water off and add the sugar, bring back to a simmer to dissolve the sugar. Cool the mixture down and stir in the lemon juice.
For the Prune Pear Shrub:
Cover the prunes and pears with the sugar and place in the refrigerator for 2 days. Take the accumulated liquid and add equal parts apple cider vinegar.
