Triple Sec (or orange liqueur)

How to make Prune + Orange Margarita

You’ve gathered all your ingredients. Now, it’s time to shake up a cocktail!

Rub a lime wedge along the rims of two cocktail glasses and dip in Tajin or chile-lime seasoning to coat.

Combine prune juice, orange juice, tequila, lime juice and Triple Sec in a cocktail shaker.

Add ice and shake vigorously to combine.

Pour into Tajin-rimmed glasses and garnish with a few citrus wedges.

Ingredients
 
 

  • 2 ounces California Prune juice
  • 4 ounces fresh-squeezed orange juice
  • Juice of one lime
  • 2 ounces silver tequila
  • 1 ounces orange liqueur such as Triple Sec
  • Tajin or chili-lime salt
  • Sliced oranges and limes for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Dampen the rim of two glasses with a slice of lime. Dip rims in Tajin or chili-lime salt to coat. Set glasses aside.
  • In a cocktail shaker combine California Prune juice, orange juice, lime juice, tequila and orange liqueur.
  • Shake over ice for about 20-30 seconds to chill and combine.
  • Pour margaritas into rimmed glasses along with the ice and garnish with slices of orange and lime. Enjoy!
