*How to make a Prune Pear Shrub
A Prune Pear Shrub adds a unique distinct flavor to this bourbon cocktail. It’s easy to make but does require a bit of patience as it takes two days to make. Simply cover pears and prunes in sugar and let sit in the fridge for two days. After two days, collect the accumulated juices. Add an equal amount of apple cider vinegar and, voila, you’ve made a prune pear shrub.
Bonus: You can also use the Prune Pear Shrub to make a Finely Pruned Cocktail!
