California Prune Board to Exhibit at Gulfood 2020

ROSEVILLE, CALIF. – February 11, 2020 – The California Prune Board (CPB) is heading to Dubai this month to exhibit at the prestigious Gulfood event. The world’s largest annual exhibition for the food and drink industry will take place from 16th-20th February at the Dubai World Trade Centre, and will play host to over 100,000 visitors from 200 countries across the world.

CPB, which represents the sunshine state’s prune growers and packers, will be exhibiting in the USA pavilion alongside more than 150 other companies representing agricultural, food and beverage products from across the United States.

With the Californian prune industry supplying 40 percent of the global prune market, the Board will use the opportunity to showcase, to industry representatives, the premium nature of the versatile and nutritious California Prune.

Esther Ritson-Elliott, Director of International Marketing and Communications for the CPB, says:  “We work globally to raise awareness of the nutritional benefits, premium quality and exceptional taste of California Prunes. We’re delighted to be participating in Gulfood where we can highlight California Prunes on the world stage, and visitors can explore the positive effects of prune consumption on bone and gut health.”

The California Prune Board looks forward to welcoming visitors to their stand at the US Pavilion in Sheikh Saeed Hall 2.
