Prune Almond Toast

Simple yet satisfying, this Prune Almond Toast is a breeze to throw together. Recipe by Fairyburger for the California Prune Board.

  • 2 slices whole wheat bread
  • Maple syrup (optional)
  • 2-4 tablespoons almond butter
  • 9-10 diced or sliced California Prunes
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
  • Unsweetened coconut flakes


Toast slices of bread. If using maple syrup, mix with almond butter and spread onto bread slices. Top with prunes, walnuts and coconut flakes. Serve warm.
