Recipe Contest Offers Prizes for Showing Off the Versatility of California Prunes

ROSEVILLE, CALIF., OCTOBER 26, 2023 – Calling all fans of prunes: The California Prune Board is teaming up with Teri Turner, creator of the popular food blog  No Crumbs Left, to invite consumers to share their favorite recipes made with this premium dried fruit that’s delicious, versatile and nutritious.  

“With a sweet, deep taste and a luxurious texture, California Prunes are surprisingly versatile in all kinds of snacks and recipes,” said Kiaran Locy, director of brand and industry communication at the California Prune Board. “We’re delighted to partner with Teri and No Crumbs Left to provide a chance for more people to see that.”  

To enter on Instagram: Share a post (static image, Reel or Story) using California Prunes in any recipe, dish or snack, tagging @caprunes and @nocrumbs in the caption. Posts must be able to be verified. Private accounts must submit screenshots via direct message to @caprunes and @nocrumbsleft.

To enter on TikTok: Share a post using California Prunes in any recipe, dish or snack, tagging @caprunes and @nocrumbsleft in the caption. Posts must be public and be able to be verified.

The recipe and photo contest runs on Instagram and TikTok from November 1-November 19. Each post counts as an entry. There is no limit to the number of recipes and entries. Winners will be judged and selected by Turner, based on general appeal. Winners will be announced on November 23, 2023. The contest is open to U.S. residents only. 

A grand prize winner on Instagram will receive one $500 gift card for Made In® cookware, and three winners will each receive a $100 gift card for Made In® cookware. In TikTok, two winners will each receive a $100 gift card for Made In® cookware.

Turner, a best-selling cookbook author, blogger and podcaster, is known for sharing recipes and candid conversations on her popular blog as well as her social media channels and Table Talks podcast.
