Notes

Storage: Viral Weight Lifter’s Prune Bites will keep in your freezer for up to two months.
To melt the dark chocolate in a microwave:
Finely the dark chocolate into small, uniform pieces (chocolate chips do not need chopping). Place the chopped chocolate in a small microwave-safe bowl, preferably made of glass. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until the chocolate is mostly melted with only a few tiny pieces remaining, approximately 45 seconds to 1 minute in total. Allow the bowl to sit at room temperature for a minute or so until the remaining pieces melt, then stir until smooth.
To melt the dark chocolate in a double boiler:
Set a saucepan on the stove and pour in 1-2 inches of water. Place a dry, shallow, heat-safe mixing bowl over the saucepan. Add the chocolate to the mixing bowl. Turn the stove to medium heat. As the water simmers and releases steam, the steam will gently heat the chocolate, causing it to melt. Stir continuously with a heat-safe rubber spatula as the chocolate melts, until it is completely smooth.
