These edible Raw Witches Fingers are a delightfully healthy Halloween treat. Sweetened with prunes and a touch of maple syrup, these bars will bewitch children and adults into going back for seconds!
pumpkin seeds and 1 tsp red fruit puree for decoration
Instructions
Blend almonds and walnuts until almost grounded, set aside.
In a food processor blend California prunes, dates, maple syrup and honey until a paste is formed. Add water if needed. Add almonds and walnuts, salt, cocoa and spices and blend until a dough forms. If dough is to sticky add a bit more almonds/walnuts. Divide the dough into 1 inch (2.5cm) balls and roll them into finger shapes.
Place pumpkin seed at the tip using a small amount of fruit puree. Serve immediately or keep refrigerated until needed. These Raw Witches Fingers can be made a day ahead, so you can keep your party prep to a minimum.
