Prunes Stuffed with Walnuts

Prunes Stuffed with Walnuts are a quick and easy dessert for your holiday table.

Servings: 8 (serving = 3 prunes)


  • 24 California Prunes, pitted
  • 24 walnut halves
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon


Make a slit down the side of each Prune and place a walnut half inside, wrapping the Prune around the walnut to cover it completely. Mix sugar with cinnamon and place in a dish or pie plate. Roll Prunes in sugar mixture. Store in an airtight container. (Makes 24 stuffed prunes)
