In October 2019, the California Prune Board attended the International Foodservice Editorial Council (IFEC) Annual Conference for the third year in a row. The conference took place in Madison, Wisc. and provided the opportunity to network and meet one-on-one with editors from leading foodservice publications.

During the three-day event, the California Prune Board met with twelve editorial contacts from publications including Snack Food & Wholesale Bakery, Prepared Foods, Plate Magazine, School Nutrition, and more. During each meeting, the California Prune Board shared the new brand, photo and recipe assets, the California Prunes foodservice curriculum, and other relevant topics. We have already received coverage in Snack Food & Wholesale Bakery covering the recent partnership with Fourpoints Energy Bars! We will continue follow-up and relationship building with the IFEC editors throughout 2020, as well as reporting additional coverage as it appears.
